Hi, I'm Gus Bassi. I was born and live in Sorocaba/ São Paulo - Brazil. I studied visual arts and graphic design, where I fell in love with creating and collecting illustrated books for children. In 2023, I illustrated the organizer box and spine of the books in the "Brazilian Wildlife for Children" collection, published by publisher Folha Coleções (Folha de São Paulo). In 2025, I illustrated my first illustrated book alongside the writer Fernanda Ikedo, published independently in Sorocaba. That same year, I illustrated the book "Niru das kleine Leuchtzebra," (“Niru the little glowing zebra”) with texts by Manuela Vujević, published independently in Switzerland.
